More Books and Snowy Mornings
This lockdown plants more neo seeds in environmental life and
social. I reside near the 'InfoPark' in Cochin, Kerala. In front of my flat
rush thousands of vehicles every day. Nowadays zero vehicles and travellers
here, when past three weeks of lockdown we're hearing the chuckling sounds of
birds and seeing snowy mornings.
Commonly here April is the season of high hot, but from the last

Rivers flow full with pure water and no contaminations. Blue sky
exhibits its beauty with smiling stars and moon. After the lockdown each

Here's community volunteers already proved their efficacy in the
period of flood the last two years. With those lessons we are defeating the
crisis of the Corona period. The most crucial point: we are one of the
societies in the glob which are bravely facing and slapping down the Corona
virus with social solidarity.
From the Kerala government's public hospitals, dozens of foreign
citizens from Italy and the UK came out fully recovered from Covid-19. The most
notable thing is the majority were senior citizens.
Here citizens grasp the value of the public sector like government
hospitals and the 'ration shop'. More private schools and colleges were
voluntarily handed over by managements to the state government for making
hospital units against Covid-19.
In the first two days of lockdown, police atrocity was high
against citizens, while people raised their voice through social media against
the invasion of police over their human rights. Now they are behaving well.
Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan issued a salary challenge for the
state's Corona fund, getting a good response from society.
Kerala is India's first fully literate society, and it is one of
the biggest and most voracious reading communities of the Earth.
Here mainstream and leading book publishers are conducting various
writing, drafting and illustration competitions for people of different ages
including students. They are promoting e-book readings. Reader's clubs,
writer's wings, educational institutions, NGOs, cultural affairs departments,

Some singer's troupes, drama groups and teams of artists are
conducting e-competitions for publics. However, story readers and novels are

collections of poems, essays and stories.
Some groups are conducting competitions for students concerned
with heritage toys, like making olappanths or 'coconut leaf balls'. Students
send videos of themselves making it to a group authority and the best few
videos are published by them
Now with techies working from home and residence, their WhatsApp
community groups are also conducting competitions, like shooting stills of fun
moments in work-from-home time.
Social troll groups are also very engaged with their activities,
such as making the troll US president Donald Trump sing a Malayalam Mappila
song. A lot of subscribers are following such troll videos.
In short here in Kerala society is very active in Corona time with
their social commitment and social solidarity. This time with a high rate of
reading, it is a kind of reading enlightenment.
This society shows the world how to face a serious pandemic
disease with creative activities. Surely by letters, literature and art this
